Doxa currently has a team participating in the Angels Confrontation summer league, Copa Sarson. The 26-man roster, which is being managed by Ricky Figueroa and Kyle Holland, is a broad mix of current and new players that are in transition between clubs. There is an important purpose in participating with such a squad, as it gives the club an opportunity to see new players in action while also allowing some seasoned veterans time off after a hectic past 10 months of action!
The summer league proves to be an extremely competitive one, with a host of the best amateur teams in Los Angeles participating. It means that every weekend serves up a challenging fixture!
